Misty was the sweetest, gentlest doggie and gave us nearly 18 years of wonderful companionship. We all miss her terribly, though she will live on in our hearts forever.
Some people have a truly special gift and you, Dr. Forslund, are one of them. I am eternally grateful for the service you provide and I will, without a doubt, highly recommend your services to anyone and everyone I come in contact with. I am convinced there is no kinder way to say goodbye to our beloved pets.

 Dear Dr. Forslund,
Thank you for your patience, caring and understanding in one of the most difficult moments of my life. You are truly awesome! At times I feel so sad, especially in the evenings. I love Milo and I miss him. I want to say thank you, I have had to have several wonderful companions euthanized in my life, but because of you, this was the first time that I was able to be with Milo, caressing him through the end. I will always be grateful to you for that.

 Dr. Annie,
Thanks so much for helping us to give our sweet 11-yr old. Mattie Girl a dignified and compassionate goodbye, with all her doggie friends (weiner dudes Hunter, Reilly, and Wyatt) present. Even though it was a hard decision to make, we know it was the right thing to do as Mattie was suffering and bleeding internally from tumors in her spleen and her liver. She passed on so peacefully. Yours is such a difficult job to do and you deserve all the hugs of appreciation you get from thankful pet owners.

 When my ailing Chocolate Lab, Morgan, signaled to me she was ready to leave her diseased body, I immediately called Dr. Forslund . Sobbing into the phone, her words were so comforting and supportive and I knew immediately I was in good hands as I initiated this final act of love for my dog.
Morgan, was comfortable in familiar surroundings and seemed to sense Dr. Forslund had come to end her suffering; as the three of us sat together in the warm sunshine. I so appreciated the unhurried manner in which Dr. Forslund performed her services making it so much better for me as I shared my final moments with Morgan. Afterwards, I took comfort remembering how peaceful the end was for Morgan.

 Pizmo was such wonderful dog and he will always live in our memories. Pizmo tolerated our grandchildren who loved to crawl all over him, pet him, hug and kiss him from the time they could crawl until the week before he left us. He was a gentle soul. Calling you was one of the hardest calls I have every made, but from the moment you answered my call, I knew I had made the best decision for Pizmo. When you arrived and went to Pizmos's side to pet him, speak softly to him, I know he felt your love. The final care you gave him was so kind and gentle, and so respectful. I am so grateful that you were here for Pizmo and me.

 Dear Dr. Forslund,
We received Slate's paw prints and the death certificate package last Thursday. The paw prints were amazing. The little joyous cat print on the original paw print was so perfect for Slate as that is how he was! And, the 2nd paw print was perfect with the little mouse and quote. We both cried buckets. Your words were so comforting. John and I can't thank you enough for everything. I think back to that evening and wouldn't have known what we would have done without you.

 When, after too many stressful trips to several vets, I learned that nothing was going to save him, I promised Kamir I would never again put him into his cat carrier. I wanted him to be able to go in the comfort of his surroundings. Dr. Davis said you were the person to help with that, and she was right. I am also grateful that you were instrumental in relieving his pain.

 I am writing this memorial for Moses as part of the grieving process, and to share with those considering home pet euthanasia the special experience that I had with the assistance of Dr. Forslund. Dr. Forslund’s caring, understanding, and gentle manner made this most difficult decision and experience of pet euthanasia one that I can remember as a special moment and a good memory, rather than one that would diminish the memory of my special boy's last hours.

 Galford was rescued 7 years ago, and he came with lots of health problems. Time and again he had to stay at the vet’s, and every time his stress level was really high, since he would think he was abandoned again. He was a happy dog and unwilling to let go. He would insist in going for a walk, when he was so weak he couldn’t walk half a block. But his illness won. We called Dr. Annie. Even though it was Halloween night, she came to our house and befriended Galfi before getting him ready. My beloved Galfi was able to leave in absolute peace, surrounded by all his family. His goodbye was as he always was: full of love.
Dr. Forslund, Galfi was a blessing being here, and you were a blessing returning him home!

 We adopted Tank from the Southern California Lab Rescue in 2004. We fell completely in love with his loving, joyful personality and we were instantly convinced that there was no sweeter soul on the planet. When it came time to say goodbye to Tanker, we knew we wanted him to be as calm and comfortable as possible. We knew that a trip to the vet would be stressful and traumatic. From the moment I contacted Dr. Forslund, I heard the compassion in her voice and felt how much she truly cared about our situation and wanted to help. Tanker was able to go so peacefully. He was laying in my lap on his favorite spot on the couch. He was so relaxed and he fell asleep so comfortably in his final moments.
