Dear Dr. Forslund,Thank you for all the information you sent about your service and the follow-up call you made to us. We’re over the worst part of grief, but we still feel a piece of the puzzle is missing. Mel clearly misses his buddy Taz, but he is enjoying all the extra attention he is getting. I have told a number of my animal loving friends about your very special service and loving manner toward the animals and the family who is saying good-bye to a beloved pet. We all felt that Taz left this world in a very peaceful and dignified way. Your gentle way allowed us to have the time we needed to ask questions and we felt very supported and informed about what to expect. We are so glad the you told us to have the other animals with him during euthanasia so they knew what was happening. No one appears to be anxious or waiting for him to return. I was amazed at the solemn way our cat sat at attention, quietly observing Taz transition to another existence. The memorial photo my daughter Lauren prepared is attached. Please use the photo and my remarks as you wish. Blessings and love, Holly Joy Kruger Huntington Beach
