It made me so sad so many times to euthanize a pet in the hospital when I saw the pet was scared...  So I decided to make this my gift to families.  Being able to say goodbye at home.  Being peaceful.  Providing real care and compassion.  Providing a stress-free transition for the baby...  This is why I created this service.  It is for you.  It is for the pet who has been in your life and has given you so much love.  So that you can say goodbye to him the way you want to.  To allow you to be able to give your baby this final gift before his next journey...  May this difficult last journey be easier for... I am that rarity:  a native of Southern California.  I was actually born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange, and grew up in Tustin when it was still rural and full of horse pastures and orange groves....  Now I find great satisfaction in creating a peaceful, gentle environment,  comforting and reassuring the family, and easing the suffering of beloved... Dr. Lily's story...  I was born Southern California and grew up in a small city named Paramount. Growing up my home was always full of pets. My childhood pets included pigeons, cats, parakeets, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, and fish. It was this early human-animal bond that ignited my interest in animal medicine... Read more...
As a child I collected injured bugs, turtles, snakes, and lizards and strolled around with them in my doll buggy (no pun intended!) rather than the intended dolls... When I met Dr. Annie, I realized that we had so much in common and there was an instant desire for us to work together.  So I have been working for this wonderful company on a part-time basis since then. I realized that being able to put your sweetheart to sleep in the comfort of your own home is such a gift and I am so blessed to be able to help in this capacity. I have always been a compassionate and caring person and I love that I... Read more...

Hi there! My name is Dr. Jenny. Like most veterinarians, I have been obsessed with animals for as long as I could remember... I love taking care of dogs and cats, keeping pets healthy, practicing veterinary medicine, and connecting with other humans who make their pets part of the family. Sometimes, taking care of pets also means offering them a peaceful ending to an otherwise beautiful life story, and I am honored to be able to serve you and your family in any way I can... The question I seem to get a lot of the time is “how can I do this job” (hearing about the loss of a pet every day.) My answer is this, “I can do it every day because I truly know I am helping. I treat every pet owner just how I would want to be treated. I love being able to care for families and their babies. I never get tired of hearing and talking to families who are of need for our service... Read more...

When I deliver an urn, I bring closure.  My step is the final step in the chronicles of a pet's life.  An urn is a symbol of your pet and all the memories you shared.  Every person is different and everyone receives their pet's urn with a different reaction.  Whether you are happy to be reunited or saddened anew... I am an outsource worker,  born and grew up here in the Philippines.  I've never been to the United States, yet the work I'm doing for Dr. Forslund seems to connect me with her clients and their pets. I'm Diane.  I have always been an animal person and have had from frogs to dachshunds, and everything in between. They make the world a better place and I cannot imagine a world without them.  I took the job at Home Pet Euthanasia because I used the service with my cat, Hope, and the service was a complete positive to an otherwise very negative situation. After having the wonderful experience with Dr. Annie, I knew that It was an amazing organization and that I would be proud to...  Read more...
