always regal, loving and sweet
earning and deserving of each and every treat
when Sammy visited you showed breeding and grace
stepping aside to let her invade your space
while she hoarded all your toys and nestled in your beds
you turned the other snoot
while you could have torn her to shreds
we'll miss you dear Cisco, you were all a dog should be
faithful friend, greeter, guardian, soother and more
