How to "UNSPAM" Emails
This is the procedure to take when important emails go to the junk folder.
Do not try to handle it on the “Mail” program on your desktop. You have to login on the gmail account that dumps emails in the spam folder on the GMAIL website.
Figure out which email account dumps emails in the spam folder.
Open Safari (or any browser) and go to google mail.
Login to the appropriate account that needs handling (if it’s “assistant”, you login into the “[email protected]" account. If it’s your email, login into your email, for example: “[email protected]"
Enter the password
Once you are in, look on the left and you will see a list of functions. Put your cursor on that list. You will see the names of all the folders. Scroll all the way until you find a line that says “more”.
Click on “more”
Continue scrolling and you will see the Spam folder.
Click on the spam folder.
Find the email(s) that should NOT be in the spam folder. Click on one.
The email will open and a box will appear that says “Report NOT Spam”.
Click on that.
Repeat until all the non-spam emails have been “reported not spam”.
Delete all the emails that ARE SPAM until there is nothing in the spam folder.
That is all.
