Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Hailey’s love for animals began early. Although she didn’t live on a farm, her home was always full to the brim with pets. She cared for everything from dogs, tropical fish, her beloved rabbit, a hamster, cockatiels, lovebirds, turtles, and even hermit crabs. Weekends were spent at her local barn taking riding lessons and sparking her passion for horses. Looking back, she often laughs at how her parents didn’t see veterinary medicine coming as her future career path.
Dr. Hailey earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of California Davis, where she gained invaluable experience interning in multiple departments at the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital. This expanded her knowledge of the opportunities in veterinary medicine and is where she found her love of holistic and integrative medicine. She also worked at a local Nigerian Dwarf Goat farm, further expanding her knowledge and appreciation for animal care during those long kidding seasons. She went on to complete her studies at Western University of Health Sciences where she finally received her DVM and accomplished a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.
With her diverse background and deep compassion, Dr. Hailey is honored to walk alongside families during one of the most meaningful moments in the human–animal bond. She believes that saying goodbye is the last gift we give our beloved pets—a chance to provide them with peace, dignity, and love. For Dr. Hailey, helping pets pass gently in familiar surroundings, surrounded by the people who loved them most, is a profound privilege. She strives to create a calm and supportive space where families feel comforted, pets feel safe, and the final moments are filled with gratitude for a lifetime of unconditional love.
Outside of her work, Dr. Hailey enjoys reading, camping, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their four fur kiddos: two rambunctious dogs, Bunker and Barley, and two rowdy cats, Wednesday and Flint.
