The cremation service we use for your pet's Aftercare is Honor Pet. You may visit their website. You may also call them at: 323-515-1234 and ask them any questions you wish about their Aquamation process and how they will care for your pet's remains.
The picture to the left shows the standard memorial package in which Honor Pet will return your pet's ashes. You will have the option of ordering a custom urn or other memorial items and you can see photos and upgrade prices of the custom urns on their website.
Honor Pet uses a process that is different than Fire Cremation. Below is a wonderful video that shows the difference between Fire Cremation and Water Cremation.

"Aquamation is a gentle, flameless process that uses water instead of fire. It mirrors the natural way a body returns to the earth, but in less than a day instead of many years. Through a combination of warm water, natural alkalinity, and gentle circulation, the body’s tissues are broken down in the same way they would in nature.
At the end of the process, what remains are the pure mineral elements of bone. These are carefully dried and processed into a fine powder — commonly referred to as “ashes” — which are then returned to you.
We provide your pet’s ashes in a sustainable scatter tube urn, designed for either safekeeping or scattering. If you would like something more personalized, you may also choose from a selection of custom urns and memorial items available through our website.
