I have spent my life working with animals including veterinary medicine, animal rescue / welfare, rehabilitation, wildlife rescue, training and behavior. After working in veterinary medicine for several years, I decided to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in August of 2014. My calm and gentle nature with all animals enables me to work with the frightened and injured with confidence and kindness. Having worked in mobile veterinary medicine for many years I saw how important it was to be able to treat animals in an environment where they wouldn’t be afraid. I decided to take my education to a higher level by becoming an Elite Level Fear Free certified veterinary professional. In my mobile veterinary medicine experience, I have been present and assisted with many euthanasias in the home. I understand the intricacies of at home euthanasia and it is very important to me that they be peaceful and handled with the utmost care. Each pet is so very special to his or her family and end of life decisions are never easy. It’s important to me that every pet’s experience be as peaceful and caring as possible and that their families are attended to with gentleness and kindness.
